Funded solution: Quantum Logic
About the company:
Quantum Logic is a Delft-based [Netherlands] deep-tech startup developing cryogenic hardware to address the scalability bottleneck in quantum computing . Quantum Logic introduces a transformative multiplexing technology designed for cryogenic environments by focusing its effort on enabling cryogenic radio-frequency electronics using superconducting circuits.
Challenge:
Quantum computing hardware development is currently limited by the lack of reliable platforms for multiport measurement of quantum chips at millikelvin temperatures.
Solution:
The proposed solution is a cryogenically compatible ultrabroadband microwave packaging and device characterization platform. It enables precise testing of multiport quantum chips at millikelvin temperatures and provides a foundation for future scalable cryogenic multiplexers. The platform operates across an ultrabroadband frequency range from DC to 26 GHz and supports up to 22 ports via standard coaxial SMA or 3.5 mm connectors, allowing simultaneous multiport measurements while maintaining low-noise signal delivery. The platform incorporates a precise microwave assembly with a suspended chip holder, ensuring consistent electrical performance and minimal signal degradation across all ports and interfaces at millikelvin temperatures.
