Dr. Titas Gertus

Dr. Titas Gertus is a photonics specialist, entrepreneur and Manager of TOOLAS, Lithuania’s Laser Micromachining Cluster. He is also the founder and CEO of Rimti Išvien MB, developing customised laser beam shaping solutions for space, defence and industrial applications. His expertise covers laser micromachining, optical system development, free-space optical communications and semiconductor processing. Combining technical expertise with innovation management, he facilitates international collaboration between companies, research organisations and industry partners. He contributes to European photonics projects, supports technology commercialisation and organises industry events, including Baltic Photonics, to strengthen partnerships and connect research with practical market needs.
