We are excited to launch a fully funded opportunity for SMEs to explore cutting-edge Photonics and Quantum technologies in the fields of Agrifood and Biotech.
This international mission includes a cross-border visit to Poland, taking place from 21–23 October 2025. The programme is designed to foster innovation, learning, and collaboration, with a special focus on advancing solutions in the Agrifood and Biotech sectors.

Matching Mission Documents
Who can apply?
PhotonQBoost targets small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Europe that are interested in exploring Photonics and/or Quantum technology solutions to address business challenges related to sustainability, digitalisation, and resilience.Â
- Country of Establishment:
Applicants must be legally established in an EU Member State or in one of the Horizon Europe Associated Countries.Â
- SME Status:
Applicants must comply with the EU definition of an SME. The key criteria are:Â
- Fewer than 250 employees;Â
- Annual turnover not exceeding €50 million or annual balance sheet total not exceeding €43 million.Â
